Green mango

Filipinos and other asian countries sure do love green or unripe mangoes especially when served with bagoong alamang. Bagoong alamang or shrimp paste is made from minute shrimp or krill (alamang).

Some facts about mangoes:

Mango is rich in a variety of phytochemicals and nutrients. The fruit pulp is high in prebioticdietary fiber, vitamin C, polyphenols and provitamin A carotenoids.
